An exciting & flexible introduction to using different materials & techniques, combining them in interesting ways & developing images from realistic to semi-abstract & abstract. Art and Ideas - Cedric Day

An introduction to drawing, painting, sculpture & architecture in early 20th Century Europe, from Dora Carrington to the Art Deco Movement. The visual arts will be discussed against the cultural background of this fascinating era.

The British On The Grand Tour - Mary Kitson

A brief excursion to Italy (in 18th century terms) in the company of British travellers taking the 'Grand Tour' in the 18th century. This course will examine both the art made for 18th century British travellers to Italy on the Grand Tour and the artefacts that they collected on their voyages and stays in Rome, Naples and Venice.
The course will be held at: Fellowship House, 136a Willifield Way, London NW11 6YD from: 10.30 a.m. — 12.30 p.m. on: Tuesdays 14th, 21st & 28th February, 7th, 14th & 21st March
