WALKS

Marilyn Greene

Guided walks in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Hampstead, Highgate and the City of London. I am a qualified guide and can give private and bespoke walks for groups. I also have walks advertised via http://footprintsoflondon.com/ and would consider delivering a series of related walks as a course. I enjoy sharing interesting nuggets of London history and explaining how places develop and change as well as the history beneath our feet.
I am a museum professional and can give talks or out-reach talks on a number of subjects including collections at the Victoria and Albert Museum and disused tube stations.

Walk and Talk

Walking courses on the Heath. Research shows that walking not only improves your overall fitness, but can prevent osteoporosis, diabetes, depression and is a great way to combat stress. Regular walking for 30 minutes could be enough to prevent excess fat building and clogging the arteries and you can shed a few pounds in the process. Our programme is a unique concept of meditative walking for mind, body and spirit. Each session starts and ends with Pilates-based stretching and breathing exercises. There is a strong social element to this walking club which includes coffee after each walk, lunches and outings. It is an enjoyable and varied programme.
